My “Why”
As a new face in the medical community here in Weber county, I want to introduce myself and share with you my “Why”.
I grew up here and I watched women around me stressed from their busy lives- caring for children and families, keeping up with responsibilities in the community, and work stress all taking a toll on their health. I saw the potential to help women enjoy life more, instead of continuing to live with pain and causing irreversible damage. As a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and Chiropractor, I am qualified to help empower women to take charge of their health so they can be the women they want to be.
Women Need Women
Often times, a woman wants to talk to another woman about female health issues. I learned this early on when I worked as an assistant for doctors. I met with many female patients who would share concerns with me, then ask me not to share that information with the male doctors. This is a huge reason I know that I can help women with their health needs.
I am a wife and mother of a one year old boy and have studied and worked in the health field for many years. I know what it’s like to be a woman, with crazy hormones and a lot of responsibility and I’m here to help you step into the best version of yourself. Women need to be able to feel one-hundred percent comfortable sharing with their doctors. Seeing a female doctor is a great opportunity to be open and honest, to address the important issues and be understood on a deep level.
Together we will improve the community by strengthening the mothers and women who lead it. At our office we stand behind our mission statement that we can “Educate, empower, and provide unique individualized care to members of our community and beyond.”
